What are the most common mistake sin the hsc. And for e.g if we have a question like, Series and we have for e.g: 51/2(50(2)+(5-1)(6)) Do we have to simplify brackets and show that in working out or straight to calculator thanks

i enjoyed the exam found it fairly easy on a few multiple choice got me (agar plate, biscuit and a few more cant remember), and for communication i felt i did well only the sound of insects hadnt studied it fml :(
