    The Football Thread

Re: The Official Football Thread Wow I didn't realise there was such a strong football following on BoS, I'd just like to throw in some Man City Support "Fergie, sign him up!" "Fergie, sign him up!" "Fergie, sign him up!" Mancini's hopes to win the Premier League title may be a little...

    World of Warcraft

Ex-WoW addict speaking. (I wouldn't call it extreme, but I was playing quite a bit) DON'T START PLAYING I beat my addiction a while ago and If I wanted to resume playing casually I could but trust me, if you pick up WoW now its completely fresh to you will get addicted if you enjoy the game...

How will you reach your goal???

Heh ahh well man its a 2 year haul and then school is history and the prospect of a new life on the horizon. Forgot to mention that I believe its still good to have a healthy lifestyle balance, so doing exercise (playing sports as you mentioned) is still recommended and work can give your brain...

    ATAR aims

minimal effort really, although there has been sometimes were I tried a bit harder in assessment and that reflected in the result, so yes I think I can estimate my potential somewhat, but nothing is pre-written and yr 11/12 might be an entirely different ball-game, so we'll have to wait and see...

How will you reach your goal???

From what I've seen through experience and what I've read through these forums I think the key to success comes in application in class and regular revision. It really comes down to how much effort your willing to put in, but not going overkill (I think that there is a point where too much is...

    ATAR aims

Well I'm aiming to get the best possible ATAR I can, that being said even if I beat my ATAR aim of 90+ my preferences wouldn't change. I'm interested in the Computer Science degrees @ UTS/UNSW.

How was the first day of year 11?

School on friday as well. Can't say im not really excited at the moment (I was pretty excited about yr 11 a while ago but it seems to have wore off) but at the same time I'm not really dreading it. I have a lot of goals this year so its gonna be a challenging year, but bring it on.

    Whats best, chemistry or physics?

Physics and Chemistry pretty much scale the same so don't worry about that. If you say your interested in Mathematics I'm pretty sure Physics has more Mathematical content in it, so from what you've said I'd say Physics but its entirely what you prefer, look through the syllabus etc, think back...

    Advice on MX1

thanks for the advice, The reason i'd drop ex1 is just due to how the timetable works, as i'd probably have to move all my classes around and risk having to change others. I dont plan on going to ex2 if I do stick with ex1 anyway. I'll just see how the first 2 weeks go in mathematics advanced...

    Advice on MX1

Hi, I am soon to be starting my preliminary year. Currently my timetable is confirmed and I received all the subjects I selected (including advanced mathematics). Recently i've been considering taking up MX1 (providing I do that I will be dropping EX1 as its on the same line and my timetable is...

    PREliminary year

Hi Julie :) well its very much up to you, if you know you've been struggling with a particular subject in the past (while actually trying) I say try and get a tutor as soon as possible to keep on top of it. Otherwise see how the first couple of weeks go and then judge whether you need one then...
