I agree with this 100%. I used to go tutoring for english, maths and science and to be honest, i didn't find it useful or effective. I did initially go for the purpose of getting ahead + filling in gaps on things that my school teachers touched on vaguely. But soon, I found it more of a chore...

One of my friends described her science teacher from her old school and it was the funniest thing ever! Apparently the teacher had massive boobs that could be used as an armrest (deliberate exaggeration?). Whenever she wrote on the chalkboard her boobs would eventually rub out the writing...

haha heaps of people needed to go to the toilet during one of the exams and our supervisor was like "don't think that when you finish your exam you can go to the toilet and entertain yourself!" or something like that LOL. everyone took it the wrong way and burst out laughing but she didn't do...

yeah same here, im also aiming for girra and baulko. does baulko make a new class in year 11 like girra? i heard they do. well yeah, everyone has different learning needs and stuff :) not all tutors can cater for everyone so i hope your new tutor can help you =)

well, i go to pre uni and in my opinion i think its pretty good =) apparently it has a good reputation and their students always get better results in the hsc than students from other tutors. i heard from my friends that james an is crap and the work is unchallenging. im not trying to put down...
