    your sig is ok :haha: just to let you know, sparknotes is a good start for analysis. however, almost all students will use it so there's not much guarantee for high marks because you won't stand out

    quotes are an integral part of an essay, so obvs yes :haha: but be sure to find ones that encompass a text as a whole, don't just pick a quote for the sake of blatantly putting it in your essay

    eh, it all comes down to practice tbh English was actually my worst subject in year 10 and I had to work my socks off to improve having simple language is fine, is long as your thesis/point has a purpose
