Are you confident with the personality questions?

Ah okay, Secondly, are we allowed to use previous content from part a) in part b) or is that frowned upon? D: Say for example the part a) section being generic, I'll use Speer, Describe his rise to prominence, and the section b) of his question being "key figures in history have ultimately taken...

Are you confident with the personality questions?

My teacher says that the personality section is the part where most people can pick up easy marks, through that theory that the board of studies doesn't want people to fail, so it's kind of like a section where people can gain easy marks as compared to the other sections national studies and the...

How can I memorise this in 6 days?

yeah, write it out this is because it stimulates a term commonly used as "muscle memory" it not only stimulates your hand in writing the information in order, but also upon doing the exam your hand/brain will connect allowing you to pretty much remember from that past experience of movement...

    PDHPE Option: Improving Performance

Yeah, it's likely but to be honest I'm fine with both of these, for our trials I think we did a 12 marker on drugs... either that or I was doing another paper before trials... anyway yeah, I'd say it's a pretty good prediction seeing as they haven't done it. And the recent events of the...

    China :)

In the intro you don't necessarily have to go into so much detail, just briefly reference/identify them, think of the intro as basically just identifying the key points you're going to discuss, this goes for any essay in general, by identifying those points, (most likely from the ones...

    English Advanced

^agreed except for the first reason. Anyway, don't move down to standard you'll get screwed over by the scaling. How bad are you doing exactly? English is a subject based on understanding over memorising, (of course techniques and how they're used for an author to effectively convey his/her...

    China :)

Develop a strong intro that obviously answers the question and that also leads you on to talk about the main points. If you mention the strategies that are used by China to promote economy and growth you can later expand upon them in the body structure of the essay. it's important to keep...

    Can I still get a 90+ ATAR?

hmmm standard english might drag you down a fair bit so you aint in the clear yet, as long as your other subjects are really good they'll hopefully be okay.

    Can I still get a 90+ ATAR?

^ Doesn't elaborate his statement, so obviously don't trust him, he's just a fail tryhard troll. Anyway yeah I think you'll get into the 90s range, though what about your other subjects? if your others are just as good or similar then yeah it should be fine, and yes, it also depends on the...

Is "94"atar enough to go around boasting???

94 isn't that high, you'd be pretty idiotic and an arrogant prick to go around boasting that you scored 94, I mean, in the long run when you get a job, and go through uni, noone would give a stuff about it anymore. Plus you also look like a cocky prick to rub it in others peoples faces, To me...

Official: 2012 Modern History HSC Exam predictions thread

I'd think it'd be more about how society was influenced such as throughout the Weimar period leading up to WWII during the totalitarian state of 1933-1939 stuff such as culture, I mean that stuff hasn't appeared much in a while, might be time. If not this year, it'd be the next, the depression...

If your parents take your laptop away from you then just buy one, you're loaded with cash, and if that fails go to an internet cafe, you're going to waste you time and burn out LOL, also play some LoL it tends to help relieve stress

How are YOU preparing for your chinese exams?

Noted, thanks for the tip, but I think my speed is fine I always finish early, even with the writing part going into 250 words. Which is why now I'm just planning structures and phrases so I won't lose marks for inappropriateness of the text type or careless errors.
