That would be Service 0. Or "D zero" as some stores say.

We don't say "star" at our store, we say "line" but they mean the same thing. Each shop has a number of phone lines for when there's a couple of phone calls occurring at the same time. When you put a call on hold, you have to announce the line so the person can pick up the call. For example, if...

Service 40 is a price check. I don't even use the service calls anymore I just say what I need. Unless it's security I call service 100. From memory, the calls are: 10: Service supervisor required 20: customer service required 30: telephone call. 40: price check 50: first aid required 60: can't...

It's like half a block down from Flinders St station to the East. It's one of those small convenience store ones. Had a little coffee shop near the entry too, free wifi, all the mod cons :P This from Google: Also good luck! One thing I was told was to ALWAYS a remember staff breaks. And that...

Went to Flinders St Woolies at melbourne today, one of those mini convenience type stores. Was pretty cool. So weird seeing these supermarkets that sell alcohol compared to QLD where it has to be in a seperate store!

I'm just curious, what happens when someone wants to return a damaged mobile phone? We always just replace it with another one of the same model. But aren't we supposed to send it back to the manufacturer or something? Just curious. Thanks!

Ummmm... yeah that was to try and improve Big W and Masters which haven't been doing so well. It has been stressful to say the least. But apparently they've realised that, there was a news article a month or two back that the supermarkets haven't made as much money as they like, so they're...

Probably a long shot, but does any store still manually check their cigarettes of the Detailed Received Order? We stopped doing it a long time ago, but smoke counts were all out yesterday despite all the ciggies being packed away. I tried to bring it up on ISIS but the only thing that came up on...

Well, sorry. I'm loving it, there's enough staff rostered on (14 on frontend), so all I have to do is direct customers to free registers. We're a smaller store so the supervisor usually has to serve. But not this week!

I have the MusicID app on my phone, I stand up on a chair in the lunchroom and hold it up to the speaker on the roof if I ever need to find out the name of a song. Or, take note of the time and send them a message on facebook and what store your at ha. How's everyone's Christmas going?? Grids...

If your casual, your pretty much at their mercy. They don't have to offer you shifts, except the one every three months to keep your job. The only time you would probably have an advantage as a casual is if there aren't many staff to work/call in and they were desperate for someone to work. And...

Yep, thats exactly when ours started too! Obviously something to do with the software then... remember a few months ago when scanning a reward card at the start of the transaction instead of the end slowed everything down?
