My transcript has accounted for the 24 UOC completed in semester 2 (with a new WAM) while my friend's hasn't so unless she failed every course, I wouldn't put much weight into this method of calculating marks..

76.8 is definitely too low of a cutoff. I believe a ~78-79 WAM was rejected last year while a low 80 WAM (I believe it was around 81-82ish) was accepted.

Both are easy, but it's harder to get a 100 in FINS1612 than FINS1613.

Thank you. If you're finding FINS1613 difficult, then I wish you the best of luck in the other finance courses/electives such as FINS2624, FINS3616, heck even FINS1612. Finance isn't for everyone I guess.

Also fyi, headcount across all BBIB's S&T teams are slowly getting reduced... similar to their ER teams (some BB don't even have intern intakes and just recruit from their cadets i.e. UBS)

Is this course like a sequel to FINS3616?

I did FINS1613 last year in sem 2 (with the cheating fiasco) and the finals were pretty easy... If I recall correctly, around like 5 questions were straight from past papers lol.

you do need to put in some effort (minimal, but not nil) to get good marks. usually 10 mins each week posting up random discussion questions and answering other peoples questions to guarantee full participation marks (aim for 5 questions and 5 answers each module). the quizzes are google-able or...

phys1160 finals is 30mins, not 1.5 hours. Questions are not all completely the same, but some will be. joke course, ez 90+ wam booster

No I haven't done FINS3655 but the fact that only 70 people have enrolled into it next semester should tell you all you need to know about the course.

2624 is easy now. In fact, it's probably a lot easier than 3634 which I have never heard of until now and it looks like one of those S&T courses that are hardcore

2624 is no longer taught by Henry Yip. I did it last sem when it was Joakim Bang and found it pretty easy (just had to read lecture slides). However, this semester they changed lecturers and the format of the course to have like weekly quizzes and stuff.

3616 is international business actually; 3630 is bank financial management but both are fairly simple. On a side note since you are from Germany, you should do 3616 and get peter andersen as your tutor because he'll probably adore you.
