"Official Notice: Revised examination specifications for Stage 6 Mathematics courses"

Re: "Official Notice: Revised examination specifications for Stage 6 Mathematics cour By the time you get to that level, the kids don't care anyway. Coming from a school with more General maths classes than mathematics, ext 1 and ext 2 combined. We even have kids asking to drop from Applied...

Whats your fav subject right now?

In prelim... maths, and I loved visual arts. Really wish I hadn't dropped it now :( And I have to agree with most, English is the most god-awful subject

    HSC Timetable Fail

*whereas. I'd be worried too mate, if I were you. Imagine taking subjects with a lot of essay writing, when you can't even structure a sentence!! lol but really, I am soo glad I don't do a history. All 3 sciences + maths FTW.

    Atar estimate =)

Shit. There goes any satisfaction I felt. If 300 is average, coming first in a school in the 600's would be bottom of the class :/. Although our year group pretty much kicks last year's ass

    Post your half yearlies grades

    English Adv. - 91% (2/~50) Biology - 90% (1/16) Chemistry- 90% (1/10) Physics - 79% (1/15) Ext Maths- 86% (1/5) Ext 2 Maths - 57% (1/2) <-- lol pretty happy, especially with chem because I came close to failing my yearlies last year :]

    Post your half yearlies grades

Same! Really frustrating, especially because I came second by 1% :/

HSCers! What were YOU actually doing during Prelims?

Re: 回复: HSCers! What were YOU actually doing during Prelims? I wouldn't start that up again. Without having done biology, you can't comment

HSCers! What were YOU actually doing during Prelims?

Just as likely to get a high ATAR with a job than without. It just shows your organisation skills, and commitment. And as I said - an employer will more likely hire someone who has held a job before. This will come in handy when I have to go to uni and support myself whilst I complete my 'decent...

HSCers! What were YOU actually doing during Prelims?

I did the bare minimum really - assignments, homework, and study the week before exams. Also working, because I like me the money :] There's no need to put a hold on your life for two years, have fun and get a job. A job is probably the best thing on your resume, better than a 99.95 ATAR. Plus...

    Requirements of Extension 2 Mathematics

60% Band 2 is pretty shameful. No matter what they got in the school certificate. Although I agree on the concept :]
  18. nae_13

Does Ruse write their own Trial papers?

I agree. Biology is actually a really good subject, and interesting as well. And doing subjects by what you're interested in generally works out better than just picking subjects because they scale well.

Effort to get 80+ in 4U

It is a situation that could be good, or turn out terribly wrong. But it was practically one on one before anyway - a perk to a non-selective school I spose. The 3u class only has 5 in it as well :]

Effort to get 80+ in 4U

I'm also ranked first, but only out of two :P And to make matters worse, I think the other student might be dropping. And that brings on a whole new round of questions... like is it bad or risky to be the only one in the class? Cause I can't compare myself to anyone else, and have no-one to fall...
