i only have half yearly exams for 2&3U maths. :D

after this week, i've only got a chemistry assessment in week 10 and that's it for the term but i'll be getting a biology assessment to do over the holidays. according to my assessment schedule, term 2 won't even have half as many assessments as term 1 did. :D

i'd just cross multiply the fractions. x-2-(x-1) / (x-1)(x-2) = 4 -1 / (x-1)(x-2)=4 -1 = 4(x^2 - 3x + 2) 4x^2 - 12x + 9 = 0 (2x-3)^2 = 0 x = 1.5
