    Predictions for eco results

Hopefully high 80's/low 90's. I got 19/20 for MC, I think 7-8/10 for the globalisation short answer, 10/10 for the balance of payments, 10/10 for the environment and 8-9/10 for the labour market. Will hopefully get an 18-19 for my fiscal policy essay and then a 16-17 for micro. We'll see...

    Section I - Multiple Choice

But doesn't the tariff mean that because the government is imposing the tariff, the foreign producers will be forced to put their price up to maintain revenue? Because the effect of the tariff means the price of the shirt goes up to $15, they're still selling it at 15 and receiving that revenue...

Sections III, IV - Extended Response

Okay guys, here's what I wrote about in my essays - can you tell me if I was on the right track/what I should be looking at? I had a massive migraine and almost threw up during the exam so I'm concerned that I just didn't write appropriate things, especially for the second essay. I'm just super...

    Section I - Multiple Choice

It's C. The government gets the tariff, yeah, but that is passed on in the higher price of the good. If it remained at the same price there'd be no point in protection - the tariff means it carries through to the price and the imported good becomes less competitive in a domestic market!

What emotions did you go through when you when you saw the questions?

Module A (Richard III): First reaction was relief that it was slightly broader than expected, then annoyance that I hadn't prepared an essay but I managed to talk about the dual narrative, political manipulation (A LOT) and the power and integrity of language and theatre and how they bring out...

ATAR Estimate w/ final marks? :)

Awesome! Thanks you guys, I'm glad I'm looking at achieving my aims! It feels a little weird sometimes on these forums doing subjects like Geography and no sciences so 99 feels a little out of reach sometimes but I now know I can do it. :)

The lares. They are, by definition, household gods. The other three you listed were city protector deities - the first two for Pompeii and the latter for Herculaneum.

What ATAR am I looking at at this stage?

Not fishing, I'm legitimately wondering. Last year there was a girl who came first in most of her subjects and didn't get 99+ so of course I wanted to know if it is possible, and I know some of my subjects aren't scaled highly.
