    How ranks affect ATAR

I came 5th (out of 100+ if this matters?) with an 82%. So how will this work for me? What are my chances for Band 5 (Standard English)?

    Alignment & scaling

I know that re Standard English and band 6, however I am wondering if band 4 or 5 is more likely for me (I really hope I won't scaled down to band 3). Earlier in the year my assessment average was 78% and rank 10th, my trials so far are in the high 80s. However, the school is around rank 300th ;(

    Alignment & scaling

I understand many factors influence how you end of year 12 results change. Obviously harder subjects will go up, easier ones stay the same or even possibly go down. I am interested in ex graduates' experiences especially with English Standard and Biology. How has your HSC mark changed when...

    EAS

I am not talking about faking an illness, but rather thinking unis may not willing to accept someone who has an illness into a health related degree. My illness was surgically treated 8 months ago and it will not affect me in the future most likely, but the uni doesn't know that hence my...

    EAS

Has anyone applied for EAS claiming a personal illness? Have you ever had second thoughts about applying especially if you applied for a health degree thinking it may jeopardise your chances? Do you think only UAC knows specific details of the illness or unis as well?

    EAS - Personal Illness

Not a contagious illness. However, I am wondering if unis would even know the specific details as it is something that affected me over the past year, but it won't in the future due to the treatment I underwent.

    Bachelor of Physiotherapy

Not sure if you will see this as it has been more than 2 years. Currently the cut off is 90. Does that include any regional points or EAS for a personal illness? Also would you know anything about Physiotherapy at ACU?
  10. N

    EAS - Personal Illness

Probably overthinking ...but is anyone reluctant to claim EAS through UAC for a personal illness thinking that it may negatively affect your chances of getting into a health related degree?

Going government/comprehensive school after selective high school test?

I have heard that, from this year, it is much more difficult to get into an out of area school. The best info will be provided if you call those 3 comprehensive schools and ask regarding their policies.

    Module C

Yep, I only mention low self esteem and sensory sensitivities in my reflection statement & lot of "showing, not telling" in the actual story. Most of my techniques are from Rowling's speech "Fringe Benefits of Failure and Importance of Imagination" and some from King's "Crouch End", which are my...

    Module C

I have never read "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" as I have another prescribed text for Module B. So I don't have a clue if my protagonist is anything like Cristopher. The focus of my story is his low-self esteem and sensory sensitivities (gets overwhelmed by loud noises, but...
