Do teachers take into consideration rankings when marking subjective assesment tasks?

Re: Do teachers take into consideration rankings when marking subjective assesment ta Yes , I suggested that to others - will probably take that up with the school administration. Because basically I was only one mark behind in total for our half yearly reports from the 1st student, so she...

Do teachers take into consideration rankings when marking subjective assesment tasks?

Does anyone know if teachers in humanities (specifically legal) are meant to take into consideration rankings when marking extended responses when it's just an assesment task? I'm just confused because my teacher said my response was 'perfect', however she 'had to rank us'. However when I asked...

Drop modern history for 4U maths?

gaaah, should I drop it after this assesment task at the end of term, or hold out until trials? I haven't studied Albert Speer in depth enough to generate a decent answer for the test, and I've got 2 other in class exams on the last 2 days of school.=| Catching up on a whole years worth of...

Drop modern history for 4U maths?

I'm doing fairly well in all my units except for Modern History, whilst my 4U could probably improve but I spend so much time on my humanities subjects Eco, Legal, Modern. I'm not sure if I could do better in Modern anymore - I've lost the confidence in the topic, and we don't have a strong...

Drop modern history for 4U maths?

Yes, but only when I fully understand the concepts. I find Complex Numbers and Mechanics difficult to grasp, so I don't really like 4U when it comes to those topics.

Drop modern history for 4U maths?

I've currently got 12 units, and am contemplating on dropping Modern History since I've screwed up basically every HSC assesment task - I used to get 90 + for prelims, but lost interest, and now am only scoring an average of 80 which is ... not a great mark. As for 4U maths, I'm also not doing...

Anyone else find problems with the HSC Dotpoint Economics workbook?

I recently bought the workbook by Mohan Dhall and I found a few mistakes.. for eg, the workbooks formula for calculating labour force participation rates was : (labour force/number of people unemployed) x 100% when it really should be (labour force/working age population) x 100. Anyone else find...

How much would a raw mark of 70 for 4U maths be scaled up to?

hahha, oh thanks for the insight -do you reckon it'd risky to drop Modern History if I'm only getting 80-85 ( which would put me down to 10 units), so I can focus more on improving my 4U results?
