    General Thoughts: Mathematics Extension 1

Sometimes when people get too cocky for their own good, they reside on this site so there's no way somebody actually punches them in the face. The wise owl always hides his talons.

Anyone at their schools have any cheaters caught?

I heard one in the special provision room did as well. And the dumb bitch tried to pick it up

    General Thoughts: Mathematics Extension 1

Cheers, that's what I got. Ugh I just realised I wrote 4 for distance travelled, forgot amplitude was 2.

    General Thoughts: Mathematics Extension 1

I thought it was okay.. already lost about 4-5 marks but on top of stupid mistakes, more to come! A lot harder than I expected I think. Also what was the total distance the particle travelled? And also what did everyone get as 'p'?

If we get binomial in Q6 or Q7

I agree. And to look back at other stuff like english mandating a prescribed, extension 2 doing a conical pendulum against a surface, could be likely.

Is this the end of the world?is e3 even possible?

That's the spirit. And no problemo, I've always had a major problem dealing with these problems myself!

^ lol thanks for the mark.

Is this the end of the world?is e3 even possible?

Whoah whoah, calm down tiger. Firstly, the HSC is not the end of the world. You'll look back in 4 years time and think what a joke! Life's much harder than a stupid exam. Secondly, you will do better than expected (or so I've heard), yeah I know, I've been pretty down as well, but you just...

Did tutoring help you with school work?

Yes, tutor is highly recommended for the HSC, but you will only improve if you put in the effort. I went to a tutor where there was a class and I found it really enjoyable if you can balance between socialising in class and paying attention
  14. rawrence

    Just started the HSC course?

I do not recommend mass-produced study guides. English markers will go through papers and papers filled with the same ideas because students use the study guide's principles. If you want to distinguish yourself, that is, achieve a greater chance of band 6, formulate your OWN understanding
  15. rawrence

    Silly mistakes

Guidelines will usually allocate a mark for correct answer "1 mark - provides the correct answer" If you've done everything else correct, you should score most
  16. rawrence

    Walking out of the exam?

Physics is my worst ranked and 12th unit but I'm still giving it my..all..kinda, after chemistry DINNNARRGHH but other than that, just use the time, you've come so far!
  17. rawrence

    So did anyone do this?

You're not allowed to quote it, it must be derived And textbooks does not mean it's allowed in the HSC
  18. rawrence

Q8 Solution in 1 (one) Page! Kool Story...

I looked at it and I thought fuck it, going back
  19. rawrence

How many marks did you lost?

Re: How many marks did you lose? I finished the Q and realised I needed to copy and just wrote "..diagram on a new booklet" LUL but I really don't think you'll lose anything. I think the circle copying is for markers to know what you're talking about if you constructed any lines etc.
  20. rawrence

    General Thoughts: Mathematics Extension 2

I just bs'd that and said it turns into a straight line LUL
