    is it necessary

Yes, but you don't use it in mechanics question. It's important to leave it out from those solutions. Otherwise, integrands and other algebraic applications should have it. But I really don't think markers will deduct without them, unless of course it alters the actual solution which it rarely...

Does Ruse write their own Trial papers?

Because if you do well it's a much better confidence boost, also, easy exams won't help at all, if you challenge yourself you'll do better in the future. Also scaling! :P I just find I learn better if I do badly in a hard test rather than do well in an easy test

What are we meant to compare in Frankenstein and Bladerunner??????

Okay a good step is to firstly look at the syllabus, what is it asking? So basically, relate the two texts in terms of their context and find similarities (and differences) in how the context has shaped the meaning. A particularly important word in this module is VALUES. What you're trying to...

Does Ruse write their own Trial papers?

I think Ruse writes their own paper, and yes I prefer schools that write their own exams, generally they're more challenging

    chems syllabus point

Okay evidence can be in the form of 2 methods, qualitative and quantitative evidence. Quantitative is concerned with evidence which is actually measured, so trapped gas bubbles in ice cores in Antarctica can show the changes in Nitrogen oxide concentrations since the Industrial revolution (which...

Frankenstien/Bladerunner essay: A generic approach vs a unusual approach?

I just did my assessment before the term ended, what I did was that I talked about technocracy and religious overtaking by man's misguided overreaching. They were relatively different themes to everyone else and it kind of felt that it was a nice change from everyone else's theme. I'll update on...

    HSC Mathematics Marathon

New question, polynomials: \\\text{When the polynomial P(x) is divided by } (x^2+1) \text{ the remainder is } Ax+B\\\\\text{ i) Show that } A=\frac{P(i)-P(-i)}{2i} \text{ and }B=\frac{P(i)+P(-i)}{2}\\\\\text{ii) If P(x) is odd, find the remainder when P(x) is divided by }(x^2+1)

Effort to get 80+ in 4U

It's not very hard to get over 80...so long as you know what you're doing, it's one of those things that if you don't understand one concept, it could collapse the entire topic, I'm averaging 95% currently but really, all I do is study the crucial parts and do lots of past papers

Need Help - De Moivre's Theorem

\\\text{ First step is to just work inside the bracket first and realise the denominator }\\\\\frac{(1+sin\frac{\pi}{7}+icos\frac{\pi}{7})(1+sin\frac{\pi}{7}+icos\frac{\pi}{7})}{(1+sin\frac{\pi}{7})^2-(icos\frac{\pi}{7})^2}\\\\\text{ Simplifying}\\\\\frac{1+2sin\frac{\pi}{7} +...

Question that doesn't give you the radius of earth

When you give an altitude of an object you don't add the radius of the Earth, altitude is the level above earth's surface. Therefore if a question gives you altitude you have to add on Earth's radius
