How to understand physics and chemistry?

Not saying that, just that doing the prac concrete it in my mind, compared to doing more theory Thanks, what I was trying to say Fair point, but I wasn't saying that videos's are for x lerners, just that as you said, videos work well for some people and not for others. I'm one of the...

How to understand physics and chemistry?

I know that I don't learn as much from videos as I do from practical application that I do myself and can see how things work or from reading. Everyone has different learning styles

To see what is in front of one’s nose needs a constant struggle-what do people think?

Re: To see what is in front of one’s nose needs a constant struggle-what do people th It's a panel discussion, where I'm O'Brian (1984) and a friend is Freder (Metropolis) and we have to discuss the quote and themes behind it. I've written a plan and kinda know where I'm going with it, but...

To see what is in front of one’s nose needs a constant struggle-what do people think?

What do people think of the quote “To see what is in front of one’s nose needs a constant struggle” in regards to today's society, as well as 1984 (quote is by George Orwell)?, and the issues that both societies face (govornments, censoring, money, religion, technology, whatever)??

Ahahaha glad to hear I'm actually not the only one who does that!!

How to improve in Prelim Chemistry/Biology/Physics HELP NEEDED

Don't really have anything specific to say that would help, but from personal experience make sure you understand prelim chemistry, as I didn't and now have to work a lot harder because I slacked and we don't have the most organised class (compared to my phys and bio ones). Bio and phys would be...

How to understand physics and chemistry?

Another thing that might help is applying the knowledge that you have learned to real-life. Eg. when we started learning about vectors and the forces acting upon objects in different situations in physics, I would then apply that while traveling to school each morning, such as when going around...

    Do prelim sciences affect HSC?

I've found (so far) that the world communicates was one of the most fundamentally kinda topics out of prelim So far space is cool....but man so many formulas to remember!! :blink2::bomb:

    impossible physics question

I'm guessing, since it's a discuss question, that you can draw a conclusion even if it's different to what they're suggesting, and so say that the PE effect shows that light has a particle nature, but that other experiments (eg. cathode rays) show that it also has a wave nature, which has led to...

    Resources for 1984 & Metropolis?

if you're still giving out notes/info, I'd love some =). Thanks

    Do prelim sciences affect HSC?

Chemistry definitely. I can't stress this enough (which is why I'm repeating what others have said). I didn't understand, tbh, most of prelim chem, and so now am struggling more than what I would like and am finding that I'm having to re-teach myself the things that we covered. Bio...not so...

    Hsc chemistry module 3

any dot-point questions or surfing chemistry sheets (typing one up now) are really good too, you teacher may have them and the answers, otherwise you can buy them online or something. They are worth while though

    need help with bio

It is content heavy, but so long as you know the core fundamentals then the extra detail is pretty much common sense. You won't get good marks unless you do make sure that you're working out what you're being told, and then applying it (even just in your mind)

    Hsc chemistry module 3

I'll have a look through what I've got, will get back to you in the next couple of days (currently not at home)
