    2015ers Chit-Chat Thread

I like this question, very broad, lots of chances to explain your understanding of discovery! :D :D :D

    2015ers Chit-Chat Thread

Does a redefined opinion count as a re-discovery? :O My related text is Go Back to Where You Came From, and everything coming into my head is new stuff (as the people involved in this documentary were transformed due to their personal experiences with the refugees).

    2015ers Chit-Chat Thread

That's a really hard question, as not all texts refer to a rediscovery! I could argue against and talk about how discoveries could be fresh and intensely meaningful.... But I just find it the question so difficult as my texts (to my knowledge) are limited in terms of that question.

How Much Study in the Holidays?

I'm just going to study hard these holidays, but I've created a study plan which incorporates 2 subjects per day, one of which is English Adv so my essay skills can be down to pat and another subject. TBH pretty stressed rn because when I get back to school, on the first week back my 50% EX2...

    Management strategies

Well, this a really strange question... Operation strategies are just an aspect of Operations Management. Maybe if you were a bit more concise, I could answer... Management strategies can refer to any of the 4 key business functions: Operations, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources...

Is English the hardest language to learn?

It actually just depends how close your language is to English and how exposed you are to the English language (which is probably all the time, English is the lingua franca of the world)! If you're having a hard time understanding/ learning English, don't feel disheartened especially with most...

Is this essay worth the mark?

Petersheba, It seems that you focus was on Qantas rather than the question itself. Like any other well-written essay, the aim of responses is to "answer the question and nothing but the question". You answered the question to an extent, but you should be aiming to tackle the question more...

    textual integrity

I think strawberrye's advice of "answer the question and nothing but the question" applies to your scenario. Make sure that all the answers you provide are relevant towards the questions and add value to your response. :-) Creating a cohesive and argument is essential for success in HSC...

    textual integrity

I think the author's unique composition of individual texts imbue their works with textual integrity, so I think to an extent every question deals with textual integrity. For example, Shakespeare's construction of Hamlet (an interpretation) emphasises on an ambiguity that reflects the nature of...

I do hope you are not serious... I do not want to be a damper on your aspirations, but I'm afraid that with your current marks it will be not possible. Think of SMART goals! Best of luck :)

Discovery in "To kill a mockingbird"

Well, I studied the novel in Year 10, so I could help you out a little bit. Harper Lee's novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, focuses on the development of the two main protagonists Scout and Jem Finch. Not only does the novel reflect the concerns of the time (e.g. racism), but also deals with the...

Discovery in "To kill a mockingbird"

If you're having a hard time with To Kill a Mockingbird, why not look for something else? Poems are often rich textual forms where you can analyse aural techniques that make discovery palpable for the responders.
