Use natural fibres, synthetic fibres will build up static and you wont get good coverage. Generally go for sable/goat hair. I know you can get cheap sable hair brushes at GLOSS. Or go for Artiste brushes, you can find them in Priceline, they're pretty good =)

Don't listen to strawerrberries... UWS has a great law degree. I would suggest trying to boost your legal mark up to a band 5 so that you end up with 10 bonus points if you're worried about your ATAR.

General Maths is pretty hard to fail. I should know. I failed so hard at maths (averaging 11% in prelim 2U) before dropping to general and getting a 93 for the HSC. I got 1 band 6, 2 band 5s, 2 band 4s and I still got an ATAR in excess of 80 so... Take the advice of the person who said go for...

Personally, I think doing legal studies helped prepare me for law. If I hadn't done legal studies I would have been lost, especially in my first few weeks. But that's just me, if you pick up things fast then it probably wouldn't matter for you.
