Plans for starting Year 12 in a few months?

Definitely dropping extension english - my ext teacher has never taught Navigating the global (which we're doing next yr) and I have no interest in the subject anyway. I'm planning to pick up ext 2 maths and possibly ext latin.

What to do to get chosen for Prefect + without over doing it?

We voted for our prefects in week 8, and I think our prefect body is going to work really well together. I don't think that anything you say/do now and leading up to the vote will really make that much of a difference. At our school, teachers and students had up to 25 votes each. As someone...

    Biology help

Hello! Does anyone know any technologies which trace the paths of elements through living plants and animals? I need four, and so far I've got radioisotopes and aphids. Thanks!

does anyone have any free time anymore?

I seem to have a little less time so far compared to last year, but it's manageable. What really gets to me is how some people can be so stressed out already, wanting to get class notes off every single different teacher so that they don't miss out on a single thing, and stressing about how...

Year 11 English Area of Study and texts

My school's doing Relationships. Different classes focus on different texts, and my class are focusing on Japanese Story and White Teeth.

how do you achieve band 6's in the school certificate?

I skimmed through the above post a bit, and I agree - the etachers make year ten sound so difficult, "oh it's the year to make or break study habits for the senior school" blahblahblah. I can almost guarantee that at the first class of every subject, you'll get a talk about how you should take...

    Timetable

So far, I have two frees, but I'm not sure if it's just a timetabling error. Hopefully they're frees..

Who here didnt get into what they wanted for subject selections?

Couldn't drop ext english to pick up ancient because the dep arranged the timetable around latin, which I'm doing. Meaning I can't change maths classes, because I'm offline. But, I'm not complaining that much because I have really good teachers this year.

    Regretting or Hating any subjects?

I can't really decide yet, but I thought I was going to hate English, but.. so far, it seems alright. I bet I'll be changing my mind later though..

How was the first day of year 11?

Yesterday was the first official day of year 11 for us. Timetable clashes, year meeting, talks, blahblah. But surprisingly, we only missed out on first period, so we still had 4 other periods. Got a little bit of maths homework [which is quite alot compared to year 10, but not alot compared to...

How was the first day of year 11?

Today was just peer support for 50 girls with the year 7s, and it was only half day. Not really looking forward to tomorrow when classes actually start.

    Study Notes: Keeping or Trash?

Probably keeping them for my cousin - otherwise chucking them out.

    Easiest and hardest SC exam??

Easiest - Computing Hardest - Geography

    Computer Skills SC

Did it this morning, and it was so tedious. I swear I was going to fall asleep on my keyboard

Lowest amount of people in your classes?

    5 in Latin next year.
  17. angelarr

    Was your studying pointless?

I didn't study much - just went over what I had to include in certain long responses [which didn't end up getting asked anyway] so I guess studying would have been pointless.

General Thoughts: Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship

I thought the geography section was the hardest test out of all the rest - could not find enough to BS on Human Rights.

Maths Sc Questions (need some help)

2004 Qu 70: (c) $64 If you think about it, it says you can only use two vouchers on a meal of equal or less value, so that means you have to automatically rule out the $24 meal. The 2nd highest meal is $22, which he could use a voucher on, because it costs less than the $24. So up until now...

what will you spend this last day b4 sc doing???

Probably just write down a few things that I'll forget for science, and go FML for english.
