Definitely senior science. And don't worry about SDD, I can't program for shit, but the major seems easy enough. It's mostly just documentation which is REALLY easy. Programming is really insignificant in the major work - just make sure it works like it's supposed to.

Quick question: What happens if I do terribly in a 2U assessment task and decide to drop to General, would those marks be counted towards my ATAR? Or would something else happen? :)

Yup, still feeling like Year 11 for me. It hasn't hit me yet, but it probably will, as soon as the assessment tasks start to roll out.

Yeah, you can't be forced, especially in your situation. In fact, one class of 2U Maths averaged 38% for the yearly. o_O

But what should be the basis of the argument? I'm sure they won't take terrible scaling as an excuse. lol Thanks for the reply :)

Yep I asked my teacher before the yearlies, she did not hesitate and said that she would speak to the teacher that sorts out all of the classes and timetables. So I'm pretty lucky..

So, my teacher said she'll talk to some people to sort out timetables and how it's all going to work so that I can move up to Advanced. But, I still have the dilemma of whether or not to keep 2U. I know I've been lazy and atm it's at the bottom of my interest list, but I probably will need it...
