    General Thoughts: Biology

The average was correct because you had to disregard Trial 4 as it was an outlier. So with that assess question the average was accurate. Overall, found the paper pretty straightforward, the genetics option was surprisingly easy as well they coulda chosen much more difficult questions. Also...

    Trials results?

Me too I'm DEFINITELY scared for English I think I didn't do all that great tbh... Same as our chem cohort lol I got the highest and it was 78, and we had 80% of the class in the 50's :/

    Trials results?

You have some smart kids I must say, especially for 4u :tennisclap: If I did the 2u paper from what friends have remembered and showed me the paper didn't seem too hard lol I could explain all the answers to them.

    Trials results?

Lol didn't you do the CSSA papers Aaron? He is right on that I have friend from all the levels who found their papers hard. Eg. Highest mark in General and 2u was 81. 3u we haven't got back yet and for 4u there's only 2 in my class but I got 70 and the other got 58

    CSSA trial: physics thoughts

Yeh I know haha... Did you have any questions I might be able to discuss with you?? I did the astro option btw and only focus 1 of ITI

    CSSA trial: physics thoughts

Yes I did that but I got 48000km before I minused the 6384km... :/ hmm I wonder because I thought it was approx 35000km but my maths told me otherwise

    CSSA trial: physics thoughts

Yes very true haha it was pretty easy coz in Ext1 there is so much more they can ask... and it's not put into parts for you Me too I'm surprised no relativity but rather a 7 marker on a successful rocket launch haha. Also the only Lenz's Law occurred with the toy car and the aluminium plate...

    CSSA trial: physics thoughts

Even the amendments my teacher made (all from ITI focus 1) were simple stuff; Thomson's experiment, field between two charges, the force on a particle and the debate about what cathode rays were... I really must be lucky because this might be just me but the rest of ITI in that paper looked...

    CSSA trial: physics thoughts

I think I must be lucky my teacher didn't like how the MC was written so she made her own one up... which worked in my favour because 16/20 were just math questions and 4 were simple physics ideas haha I had no special relativity in my paper at all. I think she changed it coz there was heaps of...

    CSSA trial: physics thoughts

I wrote surprisingly a lot EXCEPT for the the fact that all I could write for a successful orbit is that the orbit can't be too low or else it will crash back down to Earth. It needs to be traveling at the right speed according to the idea of escape velocity

    CSSA trial: physics thoughts

It was about how we use spectroscopy to determine the motion of objects... both rotational and translational velocity. But my question is for astro, 1. Why was it such a difficult section 2. What in the world is the experiment for the colour filters (B-V) stuff

Thoughts on CSSA Mathematics Extension 2 Paper

Two circles C1 and C2 that intersect at A and B. O is the centre of C1, N the centre of C2. P and Q lie on the circumference of C1 and C2 respectively such that: <POA=<ANQ and <POA > <BOA. Prove that P, B and Q are collinear.

Thoughts on CSSA Mathematics Extension 2 Paper

We weren't supposed to have the harder 3u in our paper our teacher only taught us the inequalities section. So w/out mechanics and harder 3u I would've found this paper easy #100% lol. I didn't see last year's paper so I wouldn't know however Q16 was VERY DIFFCULT if you didn't know some fancy...

Thoughts on CSSA Mathematics Extension 2 Paper

Anyone have questions I can answer from the paper? (can be some of the easier stuff, eg. volumes, complex, integration, conics)
