Plug in y, dy/dx and d2y/dx2 and equate coefficients. You can solve from there easily :D (or it may be messy)

It won't badly effect you at all. It'll just improve your external mark, and depending on your rank (well technically relative internal mark compareed with everyone else) may bring your internal up too a little.
