    Paying tuition fees

Hi guys. I was just wondering how you pay tuition fees. Does the university send you an invoice by mail? And can you pay tuition fees by credit card or cheque? Thanks.

Applying for credit for previous studies - Core and Elective units

Hi guys. I'd like to enquire about applying for credit for previous studies for the Bachelor of Science. My intended major is mathematics (http://sydney.edu.au/business/currentstudents/undergraduate/curriculum_information/majors/mathematics). From another thread...

Which will boost my chance of transferring to B Com at Usyd?

And the credits earned for the non-core units of study can be transferred without asking you to retake any units?:confused2: Edit: I'm specifically enquiring about the mathematics major (http://sydney.edu.au/business/currentstudents/undergraduate/curriculum_information/majors/mathematics) The...

Which will boost my chance of transferring to B Com at Usyd?

So how does USYD treat the credit points gained elsewhere for core subjects? Do you have to retake those units of study at USYD? Or do they ask you to do additional electives instead?

Which will boost my chance of transferring to B Com at Usyd?

What if I'm transferring into third year of a four-year programme? Do you think they will let me do 30 cp per semester in my first year at USYD? And in case they don't let me do 30cp, can I simply add the extra unit of study online? Thanks.

Which will boost my chance of transferring to B Com at Usyd?

Then can I do 30 credit points of study per semester? I mean, that's above the usual load of 24 credit points per semester, but there seems to be no need to ask for permission to do 30 credit points (so, in that sense, I guess it's not regarded as "overloading"?).

Are classes graded on a curve?

So, what http://current.ask.sydney.edu.au/app/answers/detail/a_id/757/~/what-does-my-grade-mean%3F says isn't totally correct? Like even if you get a mark in the range of 85-100, you are not guaranteed a High Distinction (and so on) ?

Are classes graded on a curve?

Hi guys. I'm wondering whether classes at the University of Sydney are graded on a curve (meaning that there is a limit on the number of High Distinctions, Distinctions, Credits, etc. awarded to students), or if students are guaranteed a certain grade if they reach a certain mark (as...

    Lecture notes

Hi guys. I'm transferring to the University of Sydney from an overseas university, where lecture notes are usually uploaded onto the web for students to download and print out before class. However, after taking a look at the course websites of some units of study at the University of Sydney...

How many units of study per semester do you usually do?

Hi guys. Do students normally do 4 units of study per semester? Is that the normal load? Do you think that 5 or 6 units of study (including 1 unit of engineering stuff which has labs) per semester will be too much work?

When do newly admitted students pay tuition?

Hi guys. I've recently got into the University of Sydney. I'm wondering when we have to pay tuition and how much we have to pay. Thanks!

Where can I find hard copies of past exams?

Hi guys. Apart from the past exams available at http://www.library.usyd.edu.au/exams/, I'd like to know if there are any hard copies of past exams available in, say, libraries? Thanks!:D
