Wow!! That makes me feel 100x better about my shocking estimate of around 40/84. (47.6%). So I guess I'm better than average, somehow. Just goes to show that the people here at BoS are much smarter than the average NSW-student lol.

Lol I didnt even think it was -b/2a. That didnt come to mind at all xD I differentiated to find the stationary point, found out what x was, and then y at the peak. I also found out the y value of P, by subbing in x = 30 into the equation. then... .:. d = (y value of peak) - (y value of P) =7.2...

I don't do Ext 2 maths, and I got the induction question. Dont know if its part of the syllabus, but I've definately been asked 'miscellaneous' induction questions before. It was the only part of question 7 answered...lol

I liked that test! It was easier than I thought. I really suck at Extension Maths, so I'm hoping for around 40/84. It was easier than other years where I normally get less than that. I think I got the first 3 questions mostly right, then flunked it from there :) (I'm no good at complex...

If that equals 125/216 I will be incredibly happy - there's a bonus 2 marks I didnt think I'd get! ..87/120 ftw :D

Re: Band 6 Raw? That would be awesome, but I doubt it. We would be lucky if anything in the 80's made it to a band 6.

85/120 (raw) That was a hard test IMO. The last few past papers I did yesterday, I was averaging 98/120. It looked like my kind of paper though, no really confusing questions. Just solid 'here's what you need to do, figure it out!' Wish I had more time to fully complete Q10.

Before an exam is approved and printed, an experienced teacher of that subject ‘sits’ the paper to check it can be completed in the time allowed. The teacher also comments on how well the paper covers the syllabus and whether the language is clear. Whoever had this job should be fired

Pretty sure it was Reconciliation, (between Aboriginals and the Church) as this is a syllabus dot point. Also, the cross in the middle also signified the church, and the Australia had dots around it, showing it was Aboriginal.....so yeah that was my conclusion. Couldn't have been much else anyway.

I know her, she sat to the left of me in the test. ie yes she has done it lol.

With the exceptionally low ATAR I'll receive, I guess I'll have to change my career path. I think I might be a cheesemaker. :)
