    XD stupid techers, question did not assume anything. I graphed this on wolframalpha.com and it's a function. so any set of coordinates on the function would satisfy the question.

    I prefer to think of it as an infinite(or Lim x-> infinity) number of parallel universes rather than t imeline which branches off

    multiplying (2) by 2 4x+2y=2 adding together 5x=10 x=2 2*2+y=1 y=-3 check 2-(-6)=8 YAY!

    sorry, u heard wrong! UTS has the lowest entry ATAR (of those three). USyd is the most internationally renowned overall of those three. Law and commerce faculties prbly brought it up.     That's exactly what I want to do! If you went to the USyd open day, there was info on both. Career prospect were limited in Australia, but not as bad as 'Aeronautical and Space'. Mechatronics is like an engineering, programming and electronics degree, so any of those three fields will have jobs...
