Quality over quantity. A lot of people will have heaps of pages with a lot of babbling on that has nothing to do with the question. And 5 pages is a lot. I write about 3 pages and get high B's/A's each time. I think you'll get a really good mark for it if you smashed it.
Don't worry about anything being "cliché". There are heaps of texts on belonging that you can relate to 'The Simple Gift'. Maybe try looking for a song or book about belonging that you like. All of your paragraphs should be trying to prove whatever your thesis is. Here is the structure I use and...
It might lower your mark a little cause you didn't read the question properly, but there's no point worrying now. If you lose marks, it'll probs only be a couple. If your essay was really good though you'll still get a good mark.
I see them as basically the same thing, too. If it asks for challenges, you could always say something like "Challenges create barriers." Just a thought...
Don't rush so much that you might make mistakes, but enough to finish or almost finish. The best way to speed up is if you see a question your unsure about, just skip it. If you have time, then come back to it.

If worse comes to worse and you can't think of any other techniques for it and you really want to use it just say its dialogue.

Isn't it a bit late to be looking for related texts? The AOS exam is tomorrow. Don't forget you can disagree with the statement and talk about what suits the text you've already got.
I didn't see it as a big jump, just changing years. But then again, I was already used to studying, which is possibly why some people think its a big jump. Best of luck in your senior years, keep up studying and you'll be fine :)
That sounds interesting. Have to be careful when dealing with anything about racism though. Make sure you ok it with your teacher to make sure they don't think it's too "touchy". Good luck with your PIP :)
