I'm currently doing all three sciences. For year 12, i was confused about whether to keep bio or phys. Personally, I find bio really boring and want to phys for next year, but i've heard that its much harder... any suggestions?

One of my friend goes to Matrix, she said it was really good but expensive. I dont get tutored yet, but I'll definitely need it for next year ;)

The English was very easy when compared to other years :) Overall, I think I did pretty well

The only subject that I am worried about is History and Geography...If i dont study, Im going to fail them! But other than that, maths, eng and sci isn't hard...its all basic skills and content that you've learned throughout the whole year and computing skills is damn easy anyway

It depends on the subject....usually for english, commerce, hsie, etc I write out notes, memorise them by reading over my notes a couple of times and I do some practice questions in the textbook...where as for maths, I just do questions out of the book as maths is the only subject I dont make...

I believe it depends purely on luck and also on the selection committee of that school.

How do you know that I excel in maths? yeah i've been advised not to do chemistry as it is quite challenging and difficult. I still want to go with Physics and Chemistry.

Out of the sciences, chemistry and physics are the ones that interest me the most.. Yeah im definately going for economics, not only does it scale higher, it is more interesting that Business Studies. Thanks for the advice guys

Ok thanks. I've decided to modify my subjects... Do you think its wise to do English Extension? It is a lot work, along with doing maths extn and 2 sciences? Also, I'm thinking of replacing BUS with Economics? It scales higher, right?

My school cancelled the SC Trials and Yearly exams. Although, we had our half-yearly exams last term, which was similar to a trial exam.

It's the same process at my school. If you don't recieve either a band 5 or 6 in Maths and English, you can not do extension courses. Of course, legally, this isn't allowed, but thats how the school operates.
