Unless your friend decides to go to bankstown, north Sydney or Randwick tafe to do 4u maths. Or do it to distance ed, if not, he/she will just have to face the reality if not being able to do 4u. See post I found on...
Not trying to be mean but I'm pointing out the truth here. Are you really, really sure that you WANT to do engineering when you only did 2u maths in high school? What makes you think you can cope with the difficult and hardcore Maths in engineering when people who did 4u maths in high school...
Yea true, because for option 1, the base rate is actually $19. It's the casual loading and also overnight shifts that makes it around $24/hour.
But at the moment I'll still stick to option 1 and also apply for christmas casuals as well, and if they do work out probably I'll leave the option 1 job.
Don't do HSC at tafe. It sucks lol. Plus HSC is offered at every school, why do it at tafe? Unless you have a timetable clash or subject not offered at tafe, I won't do my main HSC at tafe.
Just using it as an example. But if option 1 was being a cadet/intern at any professional firms, obviously I'll bear with the s*** happening there and won't be posting here today.
Option 1 varies. Since I'm casual, sometimes I get 4 hours a week or sometimes I get 18-19 hours a week. One shift is around 4-5 hours.
Option 2 is casual/part time. Can be negotiated. One shift is 9 hours long. I can work around 2-5 days week.
Fine. Then teach me how to deal with cunt like managers who put you down and think that you're not suitable for the job and giving you a hard time at work ALL the time?
Unless it's a professional job like the bottom end of a law firm, accounting/ engineering firm then obviously you'll have to bear with a grin and suck it up.
But both these jobs I'm referring to aren't really professional. They are just your regular casual jobs in the labour market, with $10...
Here's the thing, would you rather have option 1: a high paying job that pays you around $23-$24 an hour BUT you just hate the job, the work environment is bad and the manager and colleagues treat you badly and you don't get much progression in the job---ie. doing the same monotonous and...
