no.. i'm not saying don't have a life.. I'm just saying that during the HSC, people start to dog you I dont mean you shouldn't have a social life etc.. "Friends don't exist" doesn't mean there's no such thing during the HSC, it means that that is when the stress takes over and everyone isn't...

I have a very good life actually.. Friendships do tend to break up during the HSC - it was the first thing my year coordinator told us, and she was right. Once its all over, everything will be back to normal, but during the trials and half yearlies, etc. a lot happens as a result of stress

no seriously i had really good friendships before year 12 During year 12, it was like no one knew each other After year 12 is a different story though..

A lot of people in my year had the same mindset as you .. towards the end of year 12 they realised 12 units is too stressful and dropped down to 11 or 10 It will make it much easier for you; 1 unit still counts btw

Then what is the purpose of alignment? i mean, it doesn't affect the ATAR so i guess its not important?

Best plan of attack: Take it easy. Don't over do it Break things up - one subject a day maybe Also - friends don't exist during year 12, so don't put them over study (go out here and there to give yourself a break though) Goodluck !
