I think this is a very good step taken by the government because it would mean more students(not-so-good students) will sit the HSC meaning that a higher ATAR can be more easily achieved. LMAO

Just finished my half yearlies except for english. I think I did okay for all of them except mx2. I have this strange problem of panicking when I am unable to do a question because I'm so used to being able to do every single question like in mx1

I agree. I get a lot of advice from teachers from all subjects to do past papers. Thing is, it is better to understand the concepts first and do the textbook questions and then go on and practice on past papers.

My teacher says we can but I dont see the point. There is also not a lot of formulae to remember, just the standard motion ones like v=u+at, s=ut+0.5at^2 etc and remember a=0 for horizontal and stuff like tht.

Troungs is very good and affordable but getting in may be difficult.

Everyone is different, if you are not so bright like I am then study more. A lot of smart people will tell you that they don't study a lot and all that bull crap. I can tell you more than half the time they are BSing. Here's my advice, don't worry about how much others study and see for yourself...
