    Question about admission

So for acturial studies where they don't offer bonus points, is it possible to receive an offer even if you are under the 2017 cut off? Or is the cutoff a final line they draw and they don't consider anyone under this mark unless they have EAS etc.

    Question about admission

Is it possible to be under the cutoff for acturial studies UNSW (97.5 in 2015) and still receive an offer, (say your atar is between 97 and 97.45)? Or do they disregard everyone below 97.5? Thanks!

    Question about moderation

How about say if rank 10 attains a higher mark externally than rank 6, will the rank 10 receive the 10th highest mark internally or will it be moderated to be above/around rank 6s? Or will it meet in the middle and be somewhere around rank 8s mark? Thanks i appreciate it.

Are internal ranks preserved when deciding on an internal mark regardless of if a student surpasses expectations during the external HSC exam? Thanks

Please don't roast my ranks [emoji813]

Oh okay thanks i was just wondering if many students who achieved between 97.5 and 98 were denied entry into the course based on their atars

Guaranteed entry is just a means of assurance. If you push you can get it though How about for a course such as actuarial studies, which had a cutoff of 97.5 in 2015 and guaranteed entry of 98? Is it at all common for students achieving a 97.5 atar to gain entry into this course? Thanks
