Should I drop Extension 2 Mathematics??

Those 4u marks look alright and seems like they could be improved. I reckon keep it since the aligning/scaling will make up for it and may even be better than 2u but ALSO it'll make your mx1 worth 2 units which is good since you're doing good in it. Dw about the marks now I got 78% in 4u trial...

Do the Rich Rule Selective Schools??

Basically what us catholic/private school people pay for school fees, the selective school people use for tutoring which I guess balances out so they're not all rich it's pretty much the same.

How do you study for English?

Idk I just wrote quotes and some analysis (didn't memorise this) and I memorised the quotes before the exam and wrote my essay on the spot. If the quotes didn't really work well for an exam (we had 3 trials) I just edited my quotes and yea that's it... stuff practice essays xD

    Help with Probability Question!!

    a) I'm guessing it means outcomes as in the selection of answers, e.g. TTTTTFFFFF. If so then there's 2 answers for each so 2^10 outcomes = 1024. b) There is a 0.5 probability of getting a question correct, i.e P(10 correct) = 0.5^10 = 1/1024. c) Now he needs to get the last 4 correct i.e...

    Phenotype/genotype ratio & sex-linked + autosomal help

I think either numbers or percentages is fine To see that it is NOT sex linked, a daughter would have the disease and the father wouldn't. But this stuff comes from practice so you gotta do a lot of questions

    Maths Ext 2 Scores:

Dw about trial marks because you can always improve before HSC. I think I got 78 raw in my last trial then was motivated to do 1 past paper everyday for 4u till HSC and ended with like 92 raw (just guessing from checking solutions) so don't give up based on trials!!!!

    MX2 Marathon

Re: HSC 2018 MX2 Marathon If you know the stationary points you can get a rough sketch of the graph and hence find the k values (which shift the graph up and down) which satisfy the equation having one real root
