    Handwritten or printed-out notes?

@snowflakeptical - I didn't know scanners were that quick haha. Well if it works for you, keep at it. I don't know if you do any subjects that require diagrams, but how do you integrate diagrams into your notes? Do you hand draw them in, or print an image and paste it in?

    Handwritten or printed-out notes?

@BlueGas - yeah it's better to do that. I wasted so much time typing up my own notes, particularly because I tell myself to "push through" and summarise one more chapter when I'm tired and don't summarise it well. So yeah use Ahmad's notes as a base and be sure to add more information to it as...

    Handwritten or printed-out notes?

True that! But how long does it take to scan notes for your subjects? In saying that it is probably better to scan your notes - my handwritten notes started to tear and I even got one set of notes wet. Not the best thing 2 weeks before a trial/HSC exam.

    Handwritten or printed-out notes?

There are a few disadvantages and advantages to each: Hand-writing - is a really good option because you retain more information and improve the fluency with which information lis transferred from your brain to paper - some people know the content back to front but are slow writers or have...

    Lymphocytes

Hi all! There are a few things I'm trying to wrap my head around in terms of the second and third line of defenses. First off, how is the lymph system related to the second line of defense? I've read different books and notes. They all agree that lymph nodes store and secrete lymphocytes...

    Combined med interviews?

Yeah you have the interview with other candidates. It's really not an interview. People tell me it's a nice chat where you talk about your life and hobbies and stuff. Pretty chilled if you ask me. Do you need to maintain a distinction average to keep the scholarship and guaranteed entry...

is pharmacy a good career path

Hey. I heard that pharmacy at USYD will only be postgraduate from 2016; the year you'll start uni! There are other places you could go to, like Orange. I have a few family members in pharmacy. They enjoy it - there's more freedom to start your own business and job prospects are pretty high...

    Best way to structure responses?

Wow! Thanks heaps! Yeah I was leaning more towards the techniques you've mentioned but it's really good to have some confirmation from you. Based on your signature, I'll take it as though you accelerated? Cheers again!

    Best way to structure responses?

Hi guys. So I've been taking notes for my HSC subjects these holidays and aim to learn most of the content for economics and biology. During my preliminary HSC year, I struggled to structure and format my response so I clearly answered the question and addressed the directive verb (eg...

Not getting 3U Maths SR with 100 overall?

Hey! Great job on your marks today. I think we can confidently say that you'll get 99.9+ tomorrow. I read your economics guide. Great job again to get 99 external when you're in year 11 and manage a state rank. It was good to have that extra bit of advice from somebody who has performed...

When are the state rank lists released?

It doesn't look like he was doing a HSC paper. Give him 30 minutes or so to mark his answers!

When are the state rank lists released?

I anticipate it'll be up at 3pm. Maybe the guy responsible for putting it up at 12 wanted to do a HSC paper!
