I'm doing the Nanking massacre, and I have 3 historians with contrasting views etc, so all g. What are you guys hoping to achieve these holidays? I'm thinking I will just make notes on how my historians view the issues I've decided on.

At the start of the hols, 2 hours per day. Got tired of it after a few days, stopped altogether. Then a week ago I shocked my self into doing 3 hours per day. Been going great :D

yes they are the moderated marks, not raw. You have to pay BOS to get your raw paper back I think

noob question: does state ranking mean you came first in state, or is it like top 50 or top 100 or something?

I'm at a private school, and as Saturday sport is compulsory, the school can count it as a 'school day'. Therefore I finish on the 6th and start again at the beginning of feb. We still finish all the content of course. I'm not 100% sure about all this^, just what someone told me.

Is Cambridge better than Fitzpatrick at explaining the concepts? I use Cambridge at school, and I'm not sure if I should invest in another textbook for the holidays as I plan to go ahead of my class by a few chapters.

Could you or anyone else please explain to me what you do when you say doing 'maths past papers'? I mean, most people haven't finished the hsc content, so are you just picking out questions from the hsc/trial papers that you have learn how to do? I should probably start on them too, but unsure...

That is a good point to consider as well, but I guess it would vary person to person. I personally am going away the week before school starts, so I can relax there. I'll probably also take a few days off around Christmas too.
