Well selective schools aren't all that great either... I was told the lake had an electric eel O_O Which is probably a lie XD But life at Oatley seems pretty fun and colourful =) I predict that 2012 DUX is a female! XD

I've been told that because it's such a large grade, many aren't serious about their HSC so they drag their cohort down. And I don't believe that it really is that difficult to become top at Oatley compared to some other schools. And what newsletter thing?

HUH? But they announced that the dux of GRC Oatley was a female who did art ="= You are male I believe as your profile states... They even had a picture of her in the school newsletter!

But your school also had a 99.95 in 2010 or 2009. I don't think it's that bad.

It's not THAT crap... My school's DUX was a Chinese girl with half her subjects having state rankings so her ATAR was 99.95

You can't exactly 'compare' the report of a non-selective school student's report to a selective school student's report. For example, an A at your school may be a B or even a C at say Fort Street as some selective schools have higher expectations and thus exams and marking may be harsher. But...
