hey, just wondering how do you get dux of your school? is it based upon who gets the most first place subjects? If so, how do they compare a hard subject to a easy subject?

Hi everyone, just wondering what will happen to my atar is i do English Standard? I am doing the following subjects; Physics, biology, Math 2U and 3U and Ancient History. I am not very good at English and am not sure if i can do well. My Atar goal is anything > 80.

I am not 100% sure about my rank. For my school, i am first but that is because on average there are only 5 kids. lol So knowing this what would my end result be?

Hey, Just wondering what is the scaling difference between General and Advance. So just say if in General i get 90% and in Advance i get 70%, what is the difference?

hmm.... if this is the case then great. So for math 2U i would need to get a raw mark of 78%. cool. The one thing that does concern me is some of those cut-offs is Business studies. an raw mark of 80 is a band 6? there are others too?

BOS sends the "72", not the "85", to UAC. But UAC does not merely add the "72" to calculate my ATAR... that "72" gets scaled to a different number. My ATAR was 86.9 .... (My english raw of 55% dragged me down real hard). I`m getting there, so your Atar was 86.9. From what i have learnt today...

but does this scaled up mark count to the total atar? So for ancient would 85 count to my total Atar/Aggregate? (mark out of 500)

to my understanding, the 86 is the aligned mark and this is what goes on your certificate. As for which one gets scaled and which one contributes to your final Atar mark is what i dont know?
