    is physics as hard as people make it out to be ?

    Physics personally i think isn't really that difficult. It's pretty much just ROTE and some basic maths skills for solving equations.

    Try the subjects out for a few weeks and see if you can cope with the workload or if the subjects which you did really well in prelim keep coming across as such in HSC.

    I've noticed this happening in various schools, generally most of them aren't completely serious but if it does affect you just ignore em.

    Prelim question help

    In regards to the ohmic vs non-ohmic - If its a line of best fit, aka the lines are generally along the same line, then its ohmic. Whereas if its more of a curve of best fit, exponential curve, then its non-ohmic. And regarding the charged plate, it do believe the forces are equal but im not sure.

    Even though it changes every year. Each subject has a general level of scaling it usually gets every year relative to other subjects.

    Physics maths for the most part is really basic. Plugging in data into equations and solving. Pretty much all 3U maths topic extend far over what's needed in physics. If your not good at maths or think you can't handle it, you don't need to do it for physics.

    the marks are sent to the nearest whole number but the ranks that schools work out can use decimal places to calculate the differences.

    fine = criminal record

    I'm guessing it was an on-the-spot fine. If so then no. Only offences which you have been found to be guilty in court, whether plea or through trial, appear on your criminal record.
