I agree with the need for the government to follor its own laws. However, I disagree with the need for a Bill of Rights, because generally, it restricts the ability for human rights laws to evolve, which is what they do. Although, also agreed on "wack in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights".

I dropped out of chemistry, having told my teacher about 3 weeks earlier "I like you as a person, but as a teacher, I just don't respect you". For me, it's bliss. Coupled with the vague disappointment that had I had a teacher I felt was good for me, I might have done really well in the subject.

My friend's dad gets a master cube, writes down pages of calculations and algorithms, and when he finishes doing that, solves the cube really quickly by following the algorithms he's worked out.

Use of semi-colons and the like. Pretty sure there are lots of people who get things like that wrong. Not to mention general ill-use of various other things, like speech marks. But English, while beneficial, isn't actually necessary for life after school. I'd say make maths compulsary instead...

Or, they raise your competitive spirit, thus make you work, thus making you smarter. Though it's usually a fair combination of both. The more academic a year as a general, the higher the marks will be at the top end, because of that competition, so yes, in the end.

I agree, the analysing in English is great. I love being able to recognise techniques and elements within a genre or work. Essays aren't actually bad, either. And I tend to be better at maths, and then better at english.
