  1. Q

    Exercise Physiology

From a quick google, both allow you to register as both an exercise scientist and an exercise physiologist upon graduation. One of them is in Sydney and the other is in Wollongong so I’d say the choice is depending on where you live.
  2. Q

Transferring from WSU bachelor of business and science

No certain units you should take. To transfer, you need to keep your uni marks up (for commerce at usyd/unsw I’d say at least distinctions and for MQ at least credits). It usually doesn’t matter what units you do, as long as you’ve gotten good marks in uni. However, you might want to take...
  3. Q

How often is a course filled in Round 1 offers?

If you get the ATAR (non E12) then you’re pretty much entitled a spot. Only issue is if you’re in the E12 range but below the normal cutoff because the E12 scheme only be for one round (certain fine print rules idk the specifics but like you can only get one e12 offer so it’s not as “loose” as...
  4. Q

How often is a course filled in Round 1 offers?

Caps as in “the max that can be admitted into a course”. Things like medicine/dentistry are capped as they are constrained by the amount of dental chairs/hospital positions. Everyone can apply to them, just that everyone won’t get in. Things like commerce wouldn’t be capped like that since a)...
  5. Q

Difference between 'Evaluate' and 'To what extent'?

Evaluate = make a judgement whereas to what extent needs to have a degree attached to it e.g. words with modality like extremely, or poorly etc
  6. Q

How often is a course filled in Round 1 offers?

Not sure about the specifics on the E12 conditional offer, but courses like commerce don't really have caps so they'd definitely have vacancies after round 1.
  7. Q

    Medicine 😎

It's not even the admins I'm pretty sure it's automatic (try typing it) *********
  8. Q

    Medicine 😎

Funny how medstudentsonline doesn't get censored but @t@rn0tes does
  9. Q

    B science

Bachelor of Science isn’t like 3 years of school science. You choose a major which can range from maths to anatomy to economic geography and do 3 years of that. So if you have no interest in biology at all, you never have to see it.
  10. Q

    ATARs for 2021 uni entry

Generally I reckon higher because nobody would take a gap year + some unis like WSU and Newcastle allow their students to “edit” their GPA/WAM because of covid + more bonus points across the board. But who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️
  11. Q

    Medicine 😎

As a year 12 you can apply to undergrad or undergrad/postgrad packages (but not purely postgrad). Note that some of the undergrad unis have "MD" which is just a naming convention - they are not really package as you can't GAMSAT into the MD portion. These are: Undergrad Available in a package...
  12. Q

    Medicine 😎

Doctors in the US are paid much higher and “match” right into a specialty after med school unlike Aussie grads who hang around the hospital for a couple years waiting and applying to specialty training so it’s not “instant cash” to pay it back (but still a very well paid job at the end of the...
  13. Q

    Medicine 😎

Yep. It's private so they can charge whatever they like. If your parents have the money to afford it comfortably and you 100% want to be a doctor then go for it... but don't make them remortgage their house etc...
  14. Q

    Medicine 😎

There are 3 semesters per year so like 90k p.a.... not exactly the most accessible degree out there.
  15. Q

    Medicine 😎

Have you not heard of Bond University?
  16. Q

Megamind as my related text for the common module?

Yes! Universal human experiences don’t have to be reflected in humans as we know it. I would recommend against using the same text type (both movies) as a related text just because... but I guess megamind is an animation so you get some extra animatic techniques or something.
  17. Q

    Medicine 😎

Isn’t it a “top down” sorta thing so if you get the bare minimum of both cutoffs you might not get an interview?
  18. Q

    Favourite item of clothing

Hermes Apple Watch by any chance?
  19. Q

    Medicine 😎

There's non UCAT unis as well like Griffith and USyd so apply to them if you're considering med
  20. Q

    MQ b.comm -> UNSW b.comm

Probably not but who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️UAC and friends aren't awfully transparent about non-ATAR methods of entry but if your WAM or GPA is equivalent to the ATAR then you're in... This only applies for degrees without really competitive ATARs (below 97?). Typical WAM boosting units (like actual...
