Keep guessing and you would be wrong. These people are actually my teachers at school and some tutors from Matrix ( the coaching college i go to ). By saying it hard, I do not refer to the level of knowledge or intelligence but rather the stress and expectations associted with the HSC.

Yes Definitely, you are doing double amount of work if you choose to do standard, plus standard has way lower scaling for top students ( i am not taliking about avarage scale). Change school while it is still possible.

I think you should keep it. Not only it's a one unit back up, it helps improve your two unit as well, since Ext 1 is somewhat harder. And you still have one year to study ^^ and to catch up. Just practice practice practice and you'll be fine. Good luck
