Does anyone know what processes HSC markers go through to make sure there are no counting errors for exam marks, particularly maths? It is a potentially serious problem. My 2u task 3 paper was added up incorrectly by 10 MARKS. The markers are human and mistakes do occur.

Assuming you meant Sn = (a(1 - r^n-1)) / 1- r for the second one, then yes either works. Depends if r is greater or less than one, it makes it easier to choose the relevant one.

It's not one mark per question, its holistic. You need a cohesive and fluent response. Best to use long texts such as poetry, not images, as otherwise you will not have enough information to write about for 5/6 marks. Don't listen to previous responders ^

What percentage should we talk about core texts/ related? 60/40? I've written 500 on core and around 200 on intro and conclusion. I don't want to write much more than 1000 words due to time constraints. what do you suggest I do? That doesnt leave much room for two related texts tbh. Finally...
