    PAL College Cabramatta INSIGHT?

Well, to the OP - talk to students who go there. Go to the school and check out the venue (if you haven't already). Talk to the principle, office ladies, staff. Do everything you can to get the 'feel' of things. Lastly, after all that, sit down and balance the pros/cons and what does your gut...

    staying over?

I don't get it. What's wrong with staying over at HIS place as opposed to going out together to the movies, dinner, whatever. Your purity, dignity, whatever it is you're concerned over is intellectual and mental - not purely physical - what you've done and not done. If you've not done something...

    yr n0t ma typ3

So true. There's no such thing as a 'type', naturally - just ones that are the products of your delusions.

Speech v Essay - what is the difference?

Well essays are a lot more... structured I'd say. There's a formula you can't really do without. It's bang bang bang techniques, effect... the usual. With speeches, I think it's like a crossover with creative writing + essay. The analysis is still there but you should bring humour in or if it's...

    Economics-- What's it like?

Haha really? well all comes down to likeness then... I find that it's extremely not dry (very very wet?) as it's so relevant. You can see the effects and stuff in the economy if you know what's happening now and around us and stuff... But if you're not interested in business side of life, then...

Anyone feel guilty about wasting money going tutoring?

Agreed. The thing is, it's not really spoon feeding. Sometimes the stuff at school aren't enough. I pay for my Eng tutor who is AWESOME and I've improved so much so I think that's definitely money well spent. For Maths, I go to a lousy one so yeah I do feel guilty. It's what you make of it.

    Economics-- What's it like?

From the OP, you remind me a lot of myself when I was in your position (last year). I, too, am a lot better at the humanities than sciences. I always came in the top 5 (second, third - at the end of year 9, 10 respectively) for commerce and stuff... although Commerce is LOL BULLSHIT...

Legal Studies Responses/Essays: Legislations, Article, Case

Re writing legal responses to questions along the lines of: evaluate the effectiveness... you know, typical 20-mark worth questions. Under exam conditions, I'm under the impression that you can't possibly be made to remember a crapload of legislations, articles, cases that are relevant to...

NO MATH -(Yr 11-12) so ECONOMICS instead?

My current teacher did the HSC a few years back (she's a fresh grad) did all the subjects that Asians stereotype as "shiet" or "dumb" subjects and got 98 or abouts. She did no maths, no sciences though she did do 4u Eng though. She did social studies, SOR, modern, ext hist. Its def possible...

    Accounting Cadetships 2009

Hey guys. Instead of finishing off assessment, I've gone through the 30-something pages on this thread over about 2 days. Haha -- thanks for the info, everyone. I've a few questions, though. See, I'm really looking into applying to these cadetships (next year) as they sound as real...
