I reckon it's good to have friends like that to keep you motivated. None of my friends are motivated as they aren't getting UAIs so I find it kind of hard to stay on track.
Oh I've had ones like these before, you just work out one of them, and then the 2nd one and add them together, I'll try now and scan the answer if it's right.
edit, actually I've only seen ones with 3 lengths or 5...I'm lookin in my textbook now.
I'm trying to find the smallest angle in a triangle where the sides are:
11.9 , 16.3 and 17.5
I have done this..
Cos A = b² + c² - a²
2bc
= 16.3² + 17.5² - 11.9²
2 x 17.5 x 16.3
I've tried it a few times and get like 61,375.8... and 75 thousand or something.
Arrghhh...
Lol I know when the HSC starts. It's a count down timer I've had in my sig for months. Now the start date has past it's counting how many days since lol.
I guess I should get a new one that counts down to the end of exams though, to save confusing lol.
I think most people would still choose English even if it wasn't compulsory, just because it would be expected students did it. I do maths even though I don't like/not very good at it, because it's just considered a good subject to have on your HSC lol.
I guess if English just didn't count if...
I'm pretty scared. Maths is my worst subject, I've never done well in it. I was reading over all my notes earlier and it makes me feel worse lol. Got to start doing some questions...although it's harder than being in class doing them. =/
"The HSC is not a charity...they're going going to look and say 'aww' and give you marks"
Once when our whole class is bad in a test, "it was almost like you walked into the wrong exam".
Hahaha
