You should make up the creative as soon as you walk into the room, otherwise it's not *REALLY* creative is it?

    Belonging Question Predictions.

Context of the book is 1960 America with the Communist witch hunt - link back your thesis points to the book's context, and there you have it, a nice essay on global communities. Anyone think they'll specify to use two related texts?

    The Woolworths Thread

Anyone else got more info on this? The day workers in my store are kickng up a huge fuss about this, with one of them saying it was a national thing. If it isn't widespread then I'm going to write to the union, but before I do that I just need to know what scale this is.

    Economics Quick Questions Thread

Re: Economics thread The maths of economics is the only thing that gets me. I'm the only person at my school doing economics who doesn't do maths - such a frustrating thing.

    making up case study

My teacher said that if you get REALLY stuck, you should use a local business (eg. fish and chip shop or something) that doesn't have information readily available in the public domain. For the HSC, the marker won't even be from your area so it's a safe option usually, I would say.

    The Woolworths Thread

All pay rates are increasing. I had a look at the changes and they all look beneficial (duh), every pay bracket gets a wage increase from what I can see, and the little booklet the union gave my store showed that everyone under the age of 20 gets an increase in pay, as well as those 'adult'...

    making up case study

You really think if a marker is reading hundreds of essays, they'll go and check if you drop a line saying Qantas has a 5% staff turnover rate? or only a 2% absenteeism rate? No, they'll take it for correct and keep going...
