    General Thoughts: Modern History

Nah it isnt a big deal, I imagine it is a pretty common occurrence. Might serve to wake up the marker if they lost attention, lol

    General Thoughts: Modern History

Lol, fair enough. At least people found one or the other easy lol Nope, it actually did occur. Marker might think you have an in-depth knowledge ;) But you did have to refer to the guaze somewhere.

    General Thoughts: Modern History

Same here !!, I went along with consolidation of power as most of my preparation was focused around the first part of the syllabus. You were not completely confined to Lenin, you could also bring in Trotsky and the Kronstadt sailors so yeah plenty to discuss :)

    General Thoughts: Modern History

Yea it was the lack of mobility option because of all the craters from bombardment, barbed wire etc.

    General Thoughts: Modern History

My teacher said it was the gauze because it is a pretty primitive 'mask', thus early on in the war.

    General Thoughts: PDHPE

Overall, a heaps good exam all round. Luckily the options were not too hard :)

    Section II - Short Answer

I wasn't sure either so i said something like "another manner in which..." Lol. Hopefully it'll still work.

    Section I - Multiple Choice

Yeh i wrote like 4.5 for each essay, dont worry especially if you write small like me. If all your content is good and answers the question you should still manage to get a band 6.

    Section I - Multiple Choice

Yeh i was thinking the same. However, i think that due to the CPI going up the value of those 'deposits' in terms of what you can purchase is reduced. Assets on the other hand such as land should increase accordingly with the CPI. I THINK thats the angle they took. But idk any other thoughts...

    Extension Major - Yugoslavia

I find it a bit funny that just above this post you clearly stated "There is no debate":D About your first post, Serbia which was a part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and after WWII gained little or no territory, rather the Partisans under Tito (who wasn't Serbian by the way)...

    Extension Major - Yugoslavia

Now Maia Z, you see why I advise against doing this topic...

    Extension Major - Yugoslavia

Please take your nationalistic bullshit somewhere else. If you have nothing smart to contribute then stay away. History Extension is a subject that revolves around objectivity and exploring both sides of the argument.

    Extension Major - Yugoslavia

I initialy thought about doing Jugolslavija but, it's too much of a risk. The break-up is still a pretty sensitive topic with strong views. Even though its not "professional" some teachers who have strong views may disagree with your point of view which as bad as it sounds might lead to you...

    strictly ballroom and places?

You pretty much had to compare the ballroom world with the toledo milk bar. Ones all fancy and shit the other one is more natural and realistic "where do you feel the rythem" and shit like that. But it was a pretty shit question. Did not word it as good as i would have liked to :(

    Section 2 - Creative Writing

Overall, this section was pretty good for me. I had three scenes so one was bound to fit in Lol

    Help with question please

    ohh fair enough. Thanks :)

    Help with question please

I was looking through the past HSC questions and this one sorta confuzzled me. "How significant was the military victory in the Civil War for the consolidation of power in the period up to 1924?" Like I know you would mention it was the last major source of internal opposition and allowed...

    2011 HSC Prediction

Yup, it has always MOSTLY been like that. But, what can happen is they might ask a question on the power struggle and another on Stalinism which leaves Lenin and Bolshevik consolidation of power totally out of it.

    HSC Predictions

I have strong feeling that for the Cold War they will ask something on "To what extent did the policies under Ronald Reagan contribute to the end of the Cold War". Renewal of the Cold War as a syllabus section hasnt been asked in over 3 years. Detente I wont study much highly unlikely to be...
