can you still do well in 2u maths if your not a 3u?

Definitely - one of my friends did very well in 2U in last year's HSC despite not doing 3U. If anything, your 2U mark will improve because you'll have more time to dedicate to it. There is no point in continuing a subject which you find overly hard and stressful - these are the people who...

Experiences in the trenches of both allied and german soldier sources?!?!

This is true, but the German homefront also began to collapse earlier, making German soldiers more resentful, bitter and war-wearied.

    How's life ?

Sure, if you're lucky enough to not have any living costs/parents who give you handouts. Otherwise, once you factor in rent or board/food/transport/recreation/clothes/etc, saving money begins to take a lot longer. Of course 10K isn't going to buy you a house, but it's still a nice nest egg to...

    How's life ?

Mine is exactly the same, right down to the savings goal. :) Though starting to think I'll need a holiday in Jan/Feb, 15 more weeks of this is going to get kind of boring.

    Source analysis

I really think that specifying sources C & D must have been a mistake... source C was so useless/nothing to write about. Good job BOS. Hope you guys will still pick up half the marks for that question, I came close to making the same mistake.

    writing on the exam paper..

The markers will do whatever they can to give you marks for your work; even if it's scanned and gets cut off, they'll find the original and mark that. As long as it's written in English/is legible, you're fine. :)

Juliar betrays australia, destroys our economic future

Oops, my bad - I forgot how the famine in Africa was caused by the Kenyan government's attempts to make polluters responsible for their emissions. How silly of me! Boy, I'm really not looking forward to a future where there is some degree of accountability regarding negative externalities.

Juliar betrays australia, destroys our economic future

Godwin's law already? :P http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law And finally, Australia is moving in the right direction (though there's obviously a long way to go).

    lack of energy

Are you drinking plenty of water and not coffee/coke/juice? Dietwise - smaller and more frequent meals. Snack on things like tuna, wholegrain crackers, almonds, fruit etc. Try and get rid of foods that have no nutritional value and replace them with something that does (even just swapping a...

    Post-exam reading

I have a big stack of books - One Hundred Years of Solitude is first. Need to get back into reading again though - at the moment I never want to look at a book again.

    2011 - HSC difficulty.

I think for a lot of subjects the BOS was finally living up to their "no prepared responses" spiel that they've been giving every year. So the questions weren't necessarily harder, just quite narrow (and so if you weren't fully prepared, it came down to luck that you had studied particularly...
