pretty much, if you can get full marks on 1-8 you must be pretty good already. I know i didn't get full marks from q1-8 and i got a HSC mark of 98. i guess it also depends on the difficulty of the exam, but around 100 is a pretty good mark i say.

thats a great result, it would usually be band 6 (a decent one too) =)
