When I was in Year 9 and 10, I accelerated Economics (did Prelim in Year 9 and HSC in Year 10). Overall, it was worthwhile in terms of the mark I got and the fact that I now have 2 units to 'fall back on' for my HSC, but the stress and workload was NOT worth it. Especially not in Year 9.

If I got, say, high Band 5 for 4u maths and 3u maths, but band 6 for everything else, would 99+ still be possible?

I really want to get 99+, but I'd be happy with anything above 98. My subjects are in my sig- 4maths 4eng 2phys 2chem. What HSC marks would I need to get, assuming my internal marks and ranks were fairly good? My school is ranked 16th.

Abbotsleigh. not really sure. around 2000 i think. 150 in each grade but some grades have a lot more than that. used to go to PLC. that was around 3000. 250 + in each grade. which is quite massive lol.
