Is it hard to get a high ATAR with my subjects?

If you're confident with the subjects you choose, and can be in the top group of people in each subject, you definitely can achieve that with your subjects as they are good scaling subjects, but achieving an ATAR that high with any subject combination requires hard work and dedication in my...

Do any of you cook for your families?

I cook for my family yes, the quality of that cooking is another matter though!

Well I theoretically (assuming complete combustion) there should be no peak and decrease in the potential energy as the carbon chain increases. As with each -CH2- link added, more bonds with more energy potential is gained, this should allow for a greater heat of combustion, as it is the...

Hey anomalous are you suggesting there is a peak in energy potentials as the carbon chain increases and then drops off? Sorry if it's an obvious answer from your above post, was just a bit confused

Low heat of combustion= needing more of the substance to produce energy?

Also, the reason higher mass molecules generally have higher energy potentials is because there are more bonds to be broken and bonds contain that energy. This explanation is rather simplistic but depth in this area isn't required

Low heat of combustion= needing more of the substance to produce energy?

Heat of combustion means the amount of energy that is released when a substance is burnt. So as ethanol as a lower heat of combustion it means it will produce less energy when burnt ( combusted) by oxygen. As you're using a vehicle as an example, if you fill a 40L tank with ethanol, less energy...

What type of Maths is in Physics Year 11 and 12?

The maths is basic for physics, but a good understanding of mathematical thinking and processes used, can help a lot, Particularly in more complex projectile motion

    How to start assignments early?

Haha yeah this ^ The day you get the assignment notice, just go home and write up a plan, like if you have 4 weeks or whatever break it into chunks, with deadlines each week for how much you want to have completed at that point. I would try and finish it a week before the due date, so I could...

How do you not burn out?

Health plays a huge factor, well for me it did anyway. For me I could see the difference each day depending on what I are that day. Be positive too and just try to not be hard on yourself when making mistakes
