    Section I - Multiple Choice

13 is D, I don't even know why there's confusion over this. The age of the offender is irrelevant. If they don't reach the age of criminal responsibility, there is no mens rea, therefore they aren't held responsible for the crime. However the age of the victim can strongly change the severity of...

    CSSA Economics

Does anyone remember the environmental policy SA question? Teacher said our papers are at least a week off getting marked, and had a complete mental blank on what it was on :\

Can you take a timer into hsc and trials

I'm pretty sure my school let's us take a wrist watch, however it must be removed and placed on the desk :S odd, I know.

    Cheating in Trials

All you can do is hope that both you and the person beating you "kill it" too. Besides that, there's no way to guarantee it.

    CSSA Legal Studies

Re: CSSA LEGAL STUDIES - Thought? Mauricee I know you haven't done the paper, so rather than fishing for questions, why don't you actually study. Or do you need that advantage over everyone else? (For others, this was the PM I received. Soz, just if this happened at my school and I lost ranks...

    CSSA Legal Studies

Re: CSSA LEGAL STUDIES - Thought? Yeah I noticed that. But my school did too, and whited it out on each individual paper. But dodgy whiteout tape = easily seen through :)

    CSSA Legal Studies

MC - easiest thing out. Short answer - predictable. Crime essay - not the best but should pull a 13 Options - were very generic questions Overall, exam seems way too simple for a CSSA paper. Probably because they had to base it off the specimen HSC paper.

Legal studies trial independent paper thoughts

Abolition of slavery is to do with the changing recognition of HR's, or whatever that dot point was about HR's history. The contemp. issues are: (and yes, you only need one)

Legal studies trial independent paper thoughts

For the independent paper it was - the CSSA can be on any aspect really. Let's hope they're nice!

    CSSA Legal Studies

I think MC was hard, but the essays were quite general. I'm hoping for the same, well for the essay side of things. MC - come at me!

Legal studies trial independent paper thoughts

Just have your dot points covered and it will be a breeze :)

    CSSA Legal Studies

Structure will be the same, but you can almost guarantee the questions will be much harder. :\
  16. C

Legal studies trial independent paper thoughts

Honestly, leave them and focus on crime. 30 marks come from crime, only 25 on each essay, which you can still get substantial marks without the contemp. issues :)
  17. C

Legal studies trial independent paper thoughts

    Yeah, family and consumer.

Legal studies trial independent paper thoughts

The question will guide you, but the changing in the syllabus meant there was an increased focus on them, so I'd always try and incorporate them, even if it's not specified that you must.
