Anyone doing Italian Continuers 2015? :)

And no idea for the writing section, I'm hoping something broad but it's really unpredictable :( CSSA trial was an invitation and a dialogue one? I'm not 100% sure

Anyone doing Italian Continuers 2015? :)

I've done pretty much all of them, but still don't feel too prepared! Ah well, time will tell. Finding extra listening ones was hard though, did most of them with my class luckily. You?

Anyone doing Italian Continuers 2015? :)

I know exactly what you mean by zoning out when doing the listening, it's pretty annoying. But yeah, reading sections take ages, and so does reading and responding ugh. The 200 word writing task is gonna kill me! I hope it's a decent question with lots to talk about

Ah, studio Italiano Continuaori anche! Ma la mia scrittura non è fantastico. Mi dispiace di non praticare più! Ma ci sono solo due giorni a sinistra, non vedo l'ora di finire! E' il mio ultimo esame, sono eccitato!

I am! Not feeling overly prepared but I have today and tomorrow to organise myself. I suck at listening and writing, hopefully they're not too bad!

    Biology exam thoughts

Hard exam, but there wasn't anything I didn't know. I know I stuffed up a couple of MC, looking at 16/20 most likely, and then a couple other areas, hopefully I can pull a raw 83-85

In 1880, Charles Laveran observed micro-organisms in fresh blood from malarial patients and that malaria was caused by the plasmodium micro-organisms. Later in the century, Patrick Manson proposed that malaria is transmitted by mosquitoes, Ronald Ross added to this as he established that the...

I'm not too sure? Maybe someone knows it better, but it's tricky so some clarification would be good. I know that aldosterone occurs in the nephrons and ADH in the collecting ducts and distal tubules, so ADH would generally occur after aldosterone. Because the initial level of water in the...

Because ADH does not control the levels of salt in the blood. It only controls the concentration of salt through water retention. (Usually because of dehydration) It makes collecting ducts more permeable so that water can be reabsorbed back into the blood and body tissues. And when aldosterone...

Pectinase is an enzyme which is used commercially in the production of fruit juice. It catalyses the breakdown of the cell walls of the fruit to both turn fruit pulp into juice and to make cloudy juice clear. Outline a procedure you could follow to investigate the effect of pH on the activity...

The pulse oximeter uses two wavelengths of light, passed through a finger, to measure the absorption on one side. This can determine the saturation levels of haemoglobin and hence the oxygen levels The Blood gas analyser needs only a sample of blood from an artery and can help with...
